What areas do you service?
Long Peak Lighting currently offers permanent lighting solutions in Salt Lake City, UT, Utah County and Boise, ID and surrounding areas.
Can I start with a small section and add lights later?
Yes. Our outdoor lighting system is modular and can be custom cut, so parts can be added or subtracted at any time.
How do you make sure the light tracks blend in with the house?
Lone Peak Lighting color matches every single installation to the color of the material on which the outdoor lighting track is installed. This allows the track to be nearly invisible and the least intrusive as possible.
Where do the controller box and wires go?
Lone Peak Lighting typically installs the controller box in your garage with care to make sure it is as seamless as possible, and will accommodate if your installation needs customization.

How do you control the lights?
You will be able to program and customize your lights using a mobile device and our industry-leading app.
Can the lights change color?
Yes. Each individual LED can be set to a different color. Our industry leading lighting app allows you to achieve more than 16 million hues. Your can create your own patterns, you have full control of every light!
How long do the lights last?
Our lights should last a minimum of 50,000 hours of run time — the equivalent of 22 years of nightly 6-hour glow!
How long can I run the lights?
Our lights can run 24 hours a day, so keep them shining as long as you wish!
Are these lights energy efficient?
Yes. LED lighting uses approximately 80% less energy than traditional lighting.
Are these lights Dark Sky compliant?
Our installers are trained to mount the lights to create a wall-wash glow, illuminating the exterior with color to eliminate shadows and highlight walls. This effect is Dark Sky complaint because the LEDs are angled downward.
How many LEDs are in each bulb?
There are three LED lights in each bulb.
Maintenance of outdoor permanent lighting
Lone Peak Lighting stands behind our quality outdoor permanent lighting.
Do the lights require maintenance?
No. If the outdoor lights are properly installed, they should be fully and independently functional for many years.
What happens when the light burns out?
Outdoor LED lights do not “burn” out like traditional incandescent lights. After approximately 50,000 hours of use, the colors may start to degrade. Lights can easily be replaced.
If one light burns out, do I have to replace them all?
No. Each light runs on an independent light engine and simply can be replaced individually should there be a malfunction.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes, we offer a 5 year warranty for the parts and a 1 year warranty on the labor of installing your outdoor permanent lights.
What happens if the lights get wet?
Lone Peak Lighting installs lights that can be full submersed in water and are highly durable.
